November 7th to November 14th with a very popular Hunger Games theme. Students had fun finding mockingjay pins, guessing the amount of water our tributes needed or how many nightlock berries were in the jar each day, as well as guessing which teacher read a passage from Suzanne Collins popular series on our morning announcements throughout the week. We also hosted two successful sessions of Gladiator Ball in our gym to see which junior student and which senior student would survive the SCA Hunger Games.
For every $10 spent on books at the fair patrons had their name entered into a draw for two tickets to opening night of Mockingjay Part 1.Congratulations to all our student winners of various contests and activities during the fair and to Grade 7 student at SCA Maya Clapperton who won the movie tickets!
Thank you to the SCA community who helped support our fair and made it such a success! Over $900 in books will be added to our school library.
